Core Concepts of Practice

Anatomy & Function | Breath Intake | Zones of Pressure | Phonation & Movement

  • This warmup course invites you to explore the intimate connection between your voice, body, and breath. Through accessible, science-informed lessons, you'll learn how the surrounding anatomy—from your head to your feet—directly supports vocal freedom and function. Perfect for singers, speakers, and vocal professionals, this course makes complex anatomy approachable, empowering you to warm up with purpose and precision.

  • Warming up begins with the breath. In this course, you’ll explore the quality of your breathing through guided visualizations and awareness-based practices that tune the body and mind. Strengthen your connection to breath as the foundation of vocal ease, presence, and power.

  • Healthy phonation starts with balanced breath pressure. In this course, you'll explore targeted breathwork within each key zone of respiration—learning how to support your voice from the ground up. Develop the internal awareness needed to unlock vocal clarity, strength, and sustainability.

  • The ultimate goal of this vocal warmup course is to unify sound, movement, and breath into one intelligent system. You’ll refine how your body moves with your breath—building coordination between respiratory zones and optimizing breath pressure to support healthy, responsive vocal folds. This approach sets the stage for injury prevention, vocal longevity, and confident performance.
